At the beginning of 2020, I started a joint creation project with friends of mine who experienced homelessness near my house in Nice, France. Through the work, I invited them to use mobile phones to record videos and take pictures with disposable cameras of their day to day experiences. I sketched these persons and sketched other subjects in their presence, and edited their videos. As a photography creator, in this work, I deliberately put aside the original creative form (centered around a photographer, and who or what is photographed), and tried to find new possibilities for cooperation. My intent was to subvert the power relationship before and after the lens, decentralize the relationship between photographer and who or what is photographed, and most importantly, return the right to speak to the silent people. Collectively, we also used painting, alongside photography and video to exchange perspectives, depicting the days and nights when people try to come to Europe to realize their dreams but are homeless and desperate.

Début 2020, j'ai entamé un projet de création en collaboration avec des amis sans-abri vivant près de chez moi à Nice, en France. Je les ai invités à utiliser des téléphones portables pour filmer et des appareils photo jetables pour capturer leur quotidien. Pendant ce processus, je dessinais devant eux et montais les vidéos qu'ils avaient réalisées. En tant que photographe documentaire depuis plusieurs années, j'ai délibérément mis de côté ma forme créative habituelle pour explorer de nouvelles possibilités de collaboration. Mon intention était de renverser la dynamique de pouvoir entre l'objectif et le sujet, de décentraliser la relation entre le photographe et ceux qui sont photographiés, et surtout de rendre la parole à ceux qui en sont privés. Ensemble, nous avons échangé nos points de vue sur les jours et les nuits de ces personnes, qui, en quête de leurs rêves en Europe, se retrouvent finalement sans abri et plongées dans un profond désespoir.

2020年初，我與尼斯住家附近的街友們展開了共同創作計畫。在作品中我邀請他們用手機錄影，以拋棄式相機拍照，我則在他們身邊寫生，並為影片做剪接整理。作為攝影創作者，在這件作品中我有意地放下原有的創作形式，試圖尋找新的合作可能，顛覆鏡頭前後權力關係，把發聲權歸還給無聲的人們。集體地，我們用繪畫、攝影及錄像，交換視野，描繪人們試圖到歐洲圓夢卻無家可歸，走投無路的日日夜夜。
